Purchaser

- Proficiency in Korean is required, as the role involves regular communication with Korean shipping companies and vessels.

- Relevant experience in purchasing, ship supplies/provisions, ship agency operations, shipping, or logistics is preferred.

Quotation & Purchasing

- Prepare quotations, place purchase orders, and manage delivery schedules using the company's ERP system.

- Identify suitable products based on customer and vessel requirements and recommend alternatives when necessary.

Local Purchasing & Order Preparation

- Visit local stores and suppliers in Singapore when necessary to purchase and source required items.

- Inspect incoming goods, pack items, and prepare orders for delivery.

Customer & Vessel Communication

- Communicate regularly with Korean shipping companies, vessel captains, and vessel representatives.

- Handle enquiries, additional requests, and delivery-related matters.

Other Responsibilities

- Assist with other vessel-related operational duties and documentation as required.

- Working Hours: 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM, Monday to Friday, with Saturday morning work every other week.

- Salary:

• Entry-level: SGD 3,000 per month during the 2-month probation period; SGD 3,600 per month upon confirmation.
• Experienced candidates: SGD 3,800 - 4,200 per month.
• Annual Wage Supplement (AWS): Payable from the second year of employment.
• Performance-based incentives are provided.
