About the Team
We are building a performance marketing organization where every dollar of spend is justified by evidence, not intuition. As a Manager, you will own a portfolio within Metasearch and be accountable for its performance across our APAC markets.
Job Summary
Metasearch is different from other performance channels. We sell inventory, not ads. Your results depend on pricing, inventory and the full funnel, so you will work daily with business units to move all three.
You will run campaigns at scale, design tests to measure incremental impact, and turn results into clear recommendations on how we deploy growth capital. You will not chase vanity metrics or last-click ROAS. You will interrogate the data, separate signal from noise, and build a defensible view of what is working.
This role can be an individual contributor or a first-line manager with a small team, depending on your strengths. Deep channel expertise is welcome but not required. Business ownership and analytical judgment matter most.
How You Will Work
You will have a clear scope and high accountability. You will form hypotheses, test them, and update your view based on the evidence. You will have regular access to senior leadership, and your analyses will inform where the company invests.
We are not looking for someone who runs the existing playbook. We want someone sharp enough to question it, structured enough to test it, and credible enough to change it.
Job Responsibilities
- Own the outcome. Own a Metasearch portfolio end to end, from traffic through to bookings and margin. Set targets, monitor pacing, and make trade-offs on bids and budgets with full ownership of results.
- Work with the business every day. Partner with commercial, supply and pricing teams on inventory availability, pricing competitiveness and promotions. Turn their constraints and opportunities into channel decisions.
- Measure what matters. Design and run experiments (geo holdouts, A/B tests, audience splits, lift studies) to isolate the incremental impact of spend. Push back when attribution overstates impact.
- Be data-fluent. Frame the right questions, use SQL or AI-assisted queries to get the answers, and validate the output yourself. Turn raw numbers into a narrative leadership can act on.
- Improve the operating rhythm. Spot manual reporting and optimization work that should be automated, and partner with analytics and engineering to fix it.
- Collaborate across functions. Work with product, finance and creative so your campaigns connect to broader business goals. Explain channel insights in language non-marketers can use.
- Develop team capability. If managing direct reports, set the analytical bar and coach to it. If an IC, mentor junior team members and contribute to team playbooks.
Job requirements
- 5 to 9 years of experience owning business outcomes in an analytically demanding role. Relevant backgrounds include performance marketing (in-house preferred), growth, product ownership, business analysis, revenue management and pricing optimisation.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (STEM preferred), or strong demonstrated quantitative ability in another discipline.
- Working knowledge of analytical techniques such as regression, incrementality testing, split testing and holdouts, and the judgment to apply them to real business problems.
- A track record of owning a business problem over time, not only analysing it.
- Experience working with business units on pricing, inventory or supply to drive commercial outcomes.
- Understanding of the end-to-end funnel and how channel activity ties to business output.
- Comfort with budget ownership and scaling spend efficiently across markets.
- Clear written and verbal communication. You can present to a senior audience and defend your analysis under questioning.
