We are looking for a Financial Accountant - General Ledger to join our team!

The Financial Accountant - Finance Shared Service Centre ("FSSC") is responsible for all accounting procedures and operating policies. He / she must understand the Chart of Accounts and how all journals are prepared, which includes assistance in preparation of monthly financial statements.

Key Areas

1. Prepares analysis of expenses, journals, budget schedules, quarterly survey supporting schedules, special reports
2. Performs monthly cash counts and bank reconcilation
3. Supervise in preparing of daily Financial Reports
4. Supervise Financial Accountants

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares analysis of expenses
• Prepares journals
• Supervise in preparation of daily Financial Reports
• Assists in preparation of monthly Financial Statements
• Assists in preparation of Annual Budget Information
• Performs bank reconcilations
• Prepares quarterly survey supporting schedules and special reports
• Staff supervision
  • Arranges for staff to be properly trained in their designated scope of work
  • Supervises all work duties of these staff
  • Ensures optimal work performance and efficiency of these staff
• Performs all other accounting duties

Key Requirements

• At least 3 years' experience in a finance / accounting related role

• Able to work well and communicate with stakeholders
