What we're looking for

You should have legal work rights in the country of internship.
Self-driven in learning and process improvement
Intermediate understanding of Global Financial Markets
Basic understanding of derivatives
Strong command of Excel (VBA is a big plus) - e.g. nested logic functions, lookups

What you'll do

Assisting with BAU tasks such as risk checks, reporting, and cash management
Working closely with our traders to support risk management, trading strategies, and P&L calculations
Maintaining and improving existing files and processes - which could be part of larger projects that will benefit the desk

We began operating in Singapore in 1987 where we host the regional Asia Pacific headquarters. With over 300 financial experts, we are the largest wholesale banking branch in Asia. Interest Rates Trading is part of the Financial Markets division in ING. The Singapore desk provides pricing and liquidity in interest rate derivatives to the broad spectrum of ING corporate clients as well as to ING Asia's regional rates trading desks in Seoul, Shanghai, Manila, and Taipei.

Our mandate covers Interest Rate Swaps, Cross Currency Swaps, and FX Forwards/Swaps, in G10 and 10 other Asian currencies.
