Education & certifications
- Diploma in Business and/or Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of inside sales, marketing support or customer service experience
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and with cross functional teams
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task within a deadline driven environment
- Attention to detail a dedication to accuracy and producing high-quality work
- Customer relationship skills with the ability to convey feedback internally
- Analytical skills to generate sales reports, update forecasts and maintain customer records
- Computer literacy with advanced level experience using Microsoft Office Excel
The role
What you'll do
- Support the commercial sales team globally through inside sales, customer service and technical support
- Engage with customers to answer questions, resolve issues and follow-up on inquiries by phone & email
- Process customer orders, confirm delivery dates, coordinate changes, and respond to expedite requests for external customers.
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Operations and Engineering teams to discuss product information, sales goals, and inter-departmental coordination efforts
- Manage and coordinate the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process for Singapore
- Prepare detailed sales and marketing reports containing relevant information on customers, territories, budgets, leads, growth projections, and marketing initiatives
- Manage and maintain a database of customer records and customer pricing
- Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts
- Prepare and track sales quotations and maintain the sales pipeline spreadsheet
- Conduct competitive benchmarking to assist with product pricing and positioning strategies
- Manage customer service activities by processing orders, forms, applications, and samples requests
- Participate in special projects, tradeshows and perform additional duties as required
