The role

Key responsibilities

Are you motivated by building strong client relationships, solving problems and developing commercial expertise in Prime Financing? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where disciplined execution, risk awareness and collaboration are essential?
We are looking for an individual to join the Prime Financing Relationship Management team. You will support senior relationship managers and progressively take responsibility for a defined portfolio of institutional clients, including Hedge Funds, Asset Managers and Family Offices. The role offers broad exposure across Prime Brokerage, Financing and the wider Global Markets franchise.
In this role, you will:
• Support the day-to-day coverage of Prime Financing clients and, as experience develops, manage selected relationships under appropriate senior oversight.
• Develop a strong understanding of each client's strategy, portfolio, operating model and financing requirements, using this knowledge to identify service needs and commercial opportunities.
• Coordinate client requests and follow-ups across Sales, Trading, Risk, Operations, Technology, Product Development, Transition Management and Institutional Client Lifecycle Services.
• Assist with client growth initiatives, including new fund launches, new market expansion, account changes and broader adoption of relevant products and services.
• Prepare client reviews, revenue and profitability analysis, balance sheet assessments, meeting materials and clear action trackers for senior stakeholders.
• Monitor client profitability, resource usage and service performance, highlighting exceptions and supporting agreed remediation or optimization plans.
• Maintain strong risk and control discipline by identifying issues early, escalating promptly and supporting resolution of credit, market, operational, conduct and financing-related risks.
• Support onboarding and lifecycle events from initial scoping through go-live, helping partner teams deliver accurate, timely and well-coordinated outcomes.
• Contribute to product, process and platform improvements by gathering client feedback, testing changes, documenting requirements and tracking delivery.
• Build market, product and regulatory knowledge through structured learning, collaboration with subject-matter experts and progressively broader client responsibility.

The team

You will be part of the Global Markets Financing business and work closely with Franchise Sales, Capital Markets Financing Sales, Trading, Risk Management, Operations, Technology, Product Development, Transition Management and Institutional Client Lifecycle Services teams.
The PFRM team coordinates the front-to-back client relationship, balancing client needs, risk management, service quality and business economics. In this Junior role, you will work closely with senior PFRMs, contribute to team priorities and develop toward broader commercial ownership over time.

Your skills and experience

• Typically 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in investment banking, prime brokerage, financing, markets, client service, operations, risk or a related institutional-client role.
• Foundational knowledge of Prime Brokerage or Financing, with exposure to one or more of Equities, Securities Lending, Swaps, Derivatives, Margin, Collateral or institutional client coverage.
• Strong analytical capability, including confidence working with client, revenue, profitability, risk and operational data; advanced spreadsheet and presentation skills are advantageous.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage clients and senior internal stakeholders while knowing when to seek guidance or escalate.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, maintain action logs and follow issues through to completion.
• Sound risk awareness, good judgment and a disciplined approach to controls, documentation, confidentiality and regulatory responsibilities.
• Curious, collaborative and commercially minded, with a willingness to learn complex products and develop into a trusted client adviser.
• Self-starting and resilient, with the ability to operate effectively under pressure and contribute positively to an inclusive, team-oriented culture.
• You're curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment - validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use

What Success Looks Like

• Reliable execution of client requests, reviews, onboarding activities and internal follow-ups.
• Early identification and appropriate escalation of client, risk, control or service issues.
• High-quality analysis and materials that support sound commercial and risk decisions.
• Strong partnerships with clients, senior PFRMs and front-to-back stakeholders.
• Demonstrable growth in product knowledge, client confidence and independent ownership.
